Carolina Bauernhaus Ales is a farmhouse brewery in Anderson, SC. Our handcrafted ales pay homage to the rich agricultural resources of the Upstate South Carolina by using locally sourced malt, grains, yeast, and hops. We brew with the seasons using local ingredients and fruits to make handcrafted Belgian inspired farmhouse ales and sours that are fermented and aged in oak barrels. While our brewing techniques may be Belgian inspired our beers are by no means reverent to tradition. From Carolina Bauernhaus’ taproom and pilot system in downtown Anderson SC to our production brewery on a working farm just outside of Anderson, we will strive to create a family of unique beers that range from approachable saison to challenging barrel aged sour beers.
